Edge Introductory Training Path
The Edge introductory training path includes 2 courses, Edge 101 and Edge 102.
Edge 101 is offered in one of the following ways:
- Edge 101 – Shelton (In our CT classroom)
- Edge 101 – Webinar (Online from anywhere)
- Edge 101 – Regional (Held 3 times a year in different areas of the US)
Edge 102 is an online webinar to be taken approximately 5-6 weeks after completing Edge 101. Note: you will be enrolled in next available Edge 102 when you register for Edge 101

Edge 101 – Shelton
All the training necessary to get the EDGE up and running and maintain daily functions of the store. The course covers setup, customization, inventory, customers, POS, basic reporting and much more.
This class is held in one of the training facilities in our office park in Shelton, CT. The exact address for each class will be announced a few weeks in advance.
This is a 3 day class. There is a continental breakfast available at 8:45am EST. Class will start at 9am EST both days and will run till 5pm EST.
For your greatest benefit, and out of courtesy to your fellow students, please plan to arrive on time and stay until the class is completed. Please consider arriving at the hotel on Sunday. If you cannot get a late flight out on Tuesday, please consider a flight Wednesday morning.
Cost Per Person: $1,000
Registration: Advanced registration is required.
Lodging: You must book your own lodging.
Local Transportation: You should have a car. There is no adequate cab or bus system in the area. We urge you to bring or rent a car for the duration of your stay.

Edge 101 – Webinar
All the training necessary to get the EDGE up and running and maintain daily functions of the store. The course covers setup, customization, inventory, customers, POS, basic reporting and much more.
This class is held online and can be taken from any computer that has High Speed internet.
This class is taught over 5 consecutive days (typically Monday through Friday). Each day will be 3 hours. See the calendar for dates and times.
Edge 101 – Regional
Strategies necessary to get the EDGE up and running and maintain daily functions of the store. The course covers setup, customization, inventory, customers, POS, basic reporting and much more.
This is a 3 day class. There is a continental breakfast available at 8:45am. Class will start at 9am both days and will run until 5pm.

Edge 102 – Webinar
This class is a follow up for the Edge 101. Students who take Edge 101 should take this class approx 5-6 weeks after the completion of Edge 101.
Next steps to conclude basic daily operations. This will Recap 101 milestones & introduce the remaining basic daily functions.
Prerequisite: Edge 101
This class is held online and can be taken from any computer that has High Speed internet.
Cost Per Connection: Included with Edge 101 registration.

Edge 201 – Advanced Customer Webinar

Edge 202 – Advanced Inventory Webinar
Manage an accurate inventory by gaining mastery of all inventory functionality in the Edge. Explore the correct methods for item entry, maintenance and re-stocking.
Prerequisite: Edge 101 & 102 or Entrance exam
This class is held online and can be taken from any computer that has High Speed internet.
This class is taught over 2 consecutive days (typically Wednesday and Thursday). Each day will be 4 hours. See the calendar for start times.

Gaining mastery of all POS functionality and learn best practices for teaching/mentoring

Edge 204 – Advanced Service Webinar
Streamline your Repairs, Special Orders, Custom Jobs and Appraisals by gaining mastery of the Edge services features. Explore best practices to increase efficiencies and improve customer service
